Working with Keisha was one of the highlights of my experience being pregnant and giving birth as a first time mom. When I met Keisha I was struck by her calm energy and very clear experience and knowledge of all things birth. I always looked forward to chatting with her after my appointments, and she shared many helpful resources along the way. She was always open to what I wanted to do and I felt confident that she would advocate for me and support me in any way. On the big day I was immediately comforted when she met us at the hospital as I knew she would have ideas on how to help me cope. In the end I really enjoyed my labor (I never thought I would say that!) and a lot of that is because of Keisha's calm encouragement and words of affirmation. My husband also appreciated that she was there to free up his energy. Keisha took awesome photos that I'm so glad I have! I also appreciate the support she has given me postpartum. I highly recommend Keisha to anyone looking for a knowledgeable doula to enrich your birth experience. I'm extremely grateful to have met Keisha during this life changing experience.
