Jessica provided me with invaluable breastfeeding support for several weeks post-partum. My milk was very slow to let down (a couple of weeks), and with lack of sleep, getting my baby to latch on seemed impossible. Jessica helped me learn how to hold my hungry, crying baby, and how to get him to latch onto my nipple using a variety of breastfeeding supports such as nipple shields, pumps and a supplemental nursing system (SNS). When we came home from the hospital, Jessica helped me set-up a comfortable breastfeeding space and most importantly, how to read my babies cues while feeding. Jessica's knowledge, support and encouragement in these weeks after giving birth were key in helping me persevere on my '6-week learning to breast feed' journey. If it wasn't for her, I honestly think I would have given up! I now have a happily breastfed baby and I don't need any outside supports. Thank you Jessica :)
