Most women wouldn’t want their mother in law in the room during their labor & delivery, much less be their doula, but with Jill it was an absolute no brainer. Being a first time mom, I had no idea what the next nine months had in store for us. From the minute she found out I was pregnant, Jill was always there to answer any question I had. She checked in after every doctors appointment and always informed me on what to expect each week. The childbirth classes were very informative and in depth, and I left feeling very empowered with any decision I would make in my labor journey!
During labor & delivery, she completely respected my wishes on pain management. She created a relaxing atmosphere and helped labor progress with an array of different options. I got an epidural after painful back labor and she helped me get into different positions since I couldn’t do it myself. When it came time to push, she was vital in telling me when I should push, focusing my breathing, and resting in between contractions.
My labor & delivery journey was a beautiful experience and I left feeling like every decision I made was the right one for me and our baby. If I had to do it again, I wouldn’t have it any other way! I would HIGHLY recommend Jill to anyone who is expecting!
