Krishyon Young is an experienced and compassionate doula who has a particular skill for observing and fulfilling otherwise unmet needs. She is also friendly and able to keep the atmosphere positive, regardless of who is in the room. She has assisted at three of my births and I cannot imagine going through the process without her. Each time, I felt as though she could anticipate the things I needed but was unable to express, and she has been an advocate for me when I was too tired or focused on managing my natural births to be one for myself. She also knows how to be patient and doesn't assume or judge me when I do or say things outside of my birth plan, because she knows how to trust laboring women's instincts. As a woman who has had a difficult history with childbirth, I feel reassured, more at home when Krishyon is part of my labor team.
I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a quality doula who will make their labor and delivery experience exceptional.
