Claudia was such a positive part of my first birth experience that she was one of the first people I told when I found out I was pregnant again. Her involvement went far beyond assistance on the days of my sons’ births. She was caring and supportive every step of the way through a stressful pregnancy, frequently calling and texting to check in, lend advice when needed, or even just listen when I needed to talk. She radiates warmth and love, and I always feel calmer in her presence. In a time when hospital visitors are limited, I very much felt like if I had to choose only one person to be with me during childbirth, it should be Claudia. Claudia is intensely perceptive. During labor, Claudia noticed changes in my body and voice before anyone else in the room and was able to advocate for me before I even understood what was happening. After relying so heavily on Claudia's support as I brought both of my children into the world, it's difficult not to think of her as a part of our family.
