Kelly Sunshine is the Mary Poppins of doulas. She helps your labor and delivery go down in the most delightful way, and she has a bag of tricks to solve any problem. Nauseous? She's got peppermint oil. Hot? She's got a fan to cool you off with. Thirsty? She's on it. Kelly is calm, confident and in control. She is right there with you every step of the way, from squeezing your hips and swaying with you, to telling you when you are at the peak of a contraction, to encouraging and empowering you. Kelly helped me be informed and advocate for myself and ultimately have the unmedicated birth I had always wanted, all the while making my husband feel included in and valuable to the process, and being extremely helpful to the doctor and nurses, who were all singing her praises afterward and even asking for her business cards. My only regret is not using Kelly during the birth of our first child! We're forever grateful to Kelly, and highly recommend her.
