I highly recommend Heather as a doula. She stepped in seamlessly as our back-up doula during labor and delivery since our original doula was already attending another birth. She radiates warmth and has such positive energy. During her time with us at the hospital she took such great care of us and put us at ease.
Her knowledge and feedback was invaluable as we reviewed the different intervention options the medical staff was providing. When in labor you can't always think for yourself during intense moments and she advocated for us and made sure I understood different options. I was actually able to avoid some unwanted interventions with the information she provided. I am incredibly grateful for this and it allowed me to have my dream labor. It was a relaxed unmedicated birthing experience at the hospital that left me with all the wonderful feel good hormones! Go get yourself a doula!
