We had Katie with us as our birthing doula. This is one of the most intimate experiences that a Mom to be and couple can go through in their lives and I can't say enough about having Katie there to support us. We met with Katie a couple times prior to our delivery day to go through how she could best support us and she covered labor positions we could try on the big day to help with contractions. Katie is a very caring and nurturing person and helped keep things calm in our labor and delivery room even when things started getting exhausting for me, she still offered help and support and her calming demeanor and personality was extremely welcome in those moments in particular. She also offered support for my husband and incorporated him into supporting my contractions and also relieved him so he was able to rest and eat throughout the many many hours I was in labor. Katie is also a very talented photographer and captured some amazingly beautiful moments during the labor and delivery of our baby girl. She also provided a postpartum visit and provided support virtually checking in on us between when the baby was born/we took the baby home and her postpartum visit. We can't recommend Katie enough as part of your birth experience!
