Roseanne was everything and more to my husband and I when we delivered our first baby. As first time parents, we didn't have a lot of knowledge or know what to expect regarding the entire birth process. It was clear how knowledgeable and wise Roseanne is in this field and her years of experience were evident when we chatted with her virtually before I gave birth. Roseanne was the first person I texted with questions when my water broke and I had no contractions to follow. I trusted her guidance and suggestions and felt relief that she was there to support me before I even got admitted to the hospital. She guided me through the day and checked in with me weeks prior to my delivery and after! My husband loved her and appreciated her guidance when it came to helping me labor. She taught him and showed him techniques in how to assist me. I truly don't think I would have been able to labor naturally if it wasn't for Roseanne with me, supporting me through every single contraction. Even after the birth Roseanne was right by my side taking pictures of my husband and I, holding my hand when I had to get stitched up, and even helped with baby latching on for breastfeeding. If you're on the fence about hiring a doula, do it and 100% and have Roseanne! I am so grateful for her. And for such an intense and overwhelming experience birth was and is, I am so happy that R was a HUGE part of the day I'll remember forever.
