I cannot say enough good things about working with Laurie to birth my second child. Her personality is a delight and she is an expert in her field. She knew the staff at my hospital and that was just another thing that made me feel like Inwas with someone that knew exactly how things worked where I was planning to birth.
Because of the pandemic I only had Laurie with me during birthing. My husband and oldest child were home staying safe and isolating. Laurie was an amazing advocate during a tense time when the doctor was not available but very needed (at least in my opinion). She never left my side and literally wiped away my tears. She took photos of my newborn the way my husband would have and stayed next to her while she was getting her shots so she wouldn't be all alone during a painful experience.
I have already recommended her to others and would to anyone who needs an advocate and expert with them for their birthing. I feel extremely lucky to have had the chance to benefit from her caring ways.
