Wow! Where do I start? Melanie is an amazing doula! She provided an amazing service to my family and I! Hearing the term home birth, itself could cause a lot of skepticism, however, Melanie was very encouraging and reassured me that I could do it! During the birth of our daughter, she was phenomenal! Melanie made our space very relaxing by bringing candles, essential oils, and playing calming music...so much zen! During the birth she kept my husband and I focused and continuously reminded me how strong and capable I am, as well as, how much I deserved to give birth this way; in the comfort of my own home with the way I wanted to do things...having complete control. Words cannot describe how amazing she is! You can definitely see and feel her passion for her work! Melanie has a very kind heart and inviting spirit! The best thing about her services is the fact that they don't stop after she's received her payment or after the birth, her support has been continuous! I remember FaceTiming her at 3am because I was very discouraged and was having a hard time breast feeding and within 30 mins of our call, with Melanie's expertise, my baby was latched correctly and nursing well! My husband and I are blessed to have her and couldn't have chosen a better doula!
