We are so grateful we chose Amy to be our doula for the birth of our daughter! She was excellent in all the care, encouragement, dedication and knowledge that she provided us with during my pregnancy and labor/delivery. The most important qualities that we looked for in a doula were that she had children of her own, was natural minded in labor and birth, compassionate to parents who had gone through loss (as this was our first pregnancy after miscarriages), was faith-based and respected our faith, and came from a medical background. She really hit all of our points, and we knew that she would be an excellent part of our birth team when my husband and I met her at our initial consultation! During a whirlwind of a pregnancy, Amy was a constant source of encouragement and support. During labor, she worked tirelessly supporting and encouraging me throughout labor. She respected my husband's role during labor and encouraged him in his role as my number one support in labor. I loved that she encouraged me through contractions with faith-based affirmations. We are very grateful for the outstanding care, encouragement and support that Amy gave us during our pregnancy, labor and birth!
