I am really glad we chose Rosa as our Doula.
Having her present at our daughter's birth was the best decision we made. She comes with a wealth of knowledge that help put my husband and I at ease she was very reassuring and supportive throughout my pregnancy right to the birth. During my labour and delivery I was worried that my husband would feel helpless or worried that there wasnt anything for him to do to help make the labour easy but Rosa made sure to involve him every step of the way, taught him techniques he could use when I was having contractions to help ease the pain. Honestly, it was a breath of fresh air to have her their by my side. I had a birth plan of non pharmacological interventions and I was pretty set on keeping it completely natural. There were definitely moments when I felt like I wanted to ignore my birth plan and take the pain relief but Rosa knew what I needed, she was in tune with me and worked so well with my team of Midwives to ensure I was always comfortable. I am so relieved I stuck it out but I could not have done it without my husband and Rosa and of course my midwife. When we do it all over again I wouldnt hesitate to have her there again. Thank you Rosa!
