My husband and I HIGHLY recommend Shannon as a doula. We truly cannot imagine going through our last two pregnancies/deliveries without her. I had a traumatic previous pregnancy as well as several complications with the current ones that caused me to have many fears and worries. But Shannon was always there with such reassuring encouragement and a contagious positive vibe that got me through it all. I always felt heard by her and truly cared for. Shannon also helped me achieve my goal of birthing as naturally as I could in the hospital for both deliveries. Her suggestions for labor positions is what helped my labor progress the most! And when I doubted myself she always came through with the most encouraging words. Also, it seems like almost every L&D nurse and provider in the Central IL area knows who she is and loves her! I could go on and on about how much we appreciated Shannon! She is truly gifted at being a doula!
