Telia was with me throughout my entire pregnancy, went to appointments with me when my partner was unavailable. She also was there with me when I thought my water broke but it didn’t she was very kind. During the birth of my daughter Telia was amazing. She didn’t hesitate to do anything that I asked her. She also was very intuitive when it came to anticipating the needs of my partner and I as far as space was concerned. She was very respectful of family and also is sensitive to my cultural needs. After my daughter was born she called, messaged me and also came over a few times to check on us. The breast-feeding experts from the hospital I went to were very shaming around breast-feeding and if it weren’t for Telia i would have given up for sure. There was one night when I was very exhausted and Telia came over and made dinner for my partner and I. I think my daughter was maybe four months old when she came over one day while I cleaned out all my cupboards and played with the baby. She is an amazing Doula & person. I paid for her services out of pocket as my insurance did not cover Doula services, and I would happily do it again.
