We had the pleasure of Telia assisting with the arrival of our sweet baby girl. My due date was Dec 29th. Telia made sure for the 2 weeks prior to check on me and be on 24hr call ready for when I went into labor. I ended up being induced on new year's eve and she was there during it all. Induction was about 40 hrs for me. Telia came with her bag of goodies(essential oils, scarves to help aid with positioning to help my contractions) Whenever she saw I was uncomfortable she would ask what she could do to help. Water laboring was the best decision and she encouraged me to do so. When I decided to pursue a epidural after arriving at 5cm she was still there every step of the way and even informed my nurse that it was time to call my Dr because I was ready to push. My nurse didn't believe her but when she checked Telia was right! After my delivery she gave me and my fiancée privacy to enjoy our baby. The next day she was the first person to call and check on us to make sure we was OK. She also checked on me multiple times after the birth and was very helpful with ideas on how to breastfeed and add to my milk supply. When I was unexpectedly diagnosed with postpartum high bp Telia made sure to check on me daily also. If you are looking for a doula to assist with your pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum Telia is kind,caring and a very supportive advocate for you and your journey. She is the best!
