We are so happy to have found Lisa! Our family lives abroad and with the pandemic all the possibilities to have them close to us went away. Having Lisa to support us throughout our first child pregnancy and delivery was the best decision we could have ever made.
I planned to have a natural birth with the least possible of interventions. However, it turned out that I have a very long and active labor that lasted more than 30 hours! There are so many unexpected things that can happen throughout pregnancy and labor. We are fortunate that Lisa was there to guide us through the process. She helped us feel confident to ask the right questions and made informed decisions.
It all started with an induction at week 41. Since there was no progress after 15 hours of labor my physician suggested an epidural. I had a much needed rest, but at the end my waters had been broken for so long that I had a fever and at risk of a serious infection. From all the possible scenarios, it all ended up well with a c-section and a chubby healthy boy.
Lisa was there by our side all those hours. She brought her expertise to the labor room and provided hands on support. Lisa was very knowledgeable, assertive and compassionate from the very beginning answering all of our questions and offering reliable sources of information to complement the data.
We are grateful for her kindness and support and totally recommend her to be by your side at the most important moment of your life.
