I could not have had the birth I wanted without Rebecca. I was hoping for a birth center VBAC and when I met with Rebecca the first time, I felt like she was the doula that could best help me achieve my goal. The day of my birth, she came over right from another birth! She helped me move positions and gave my partner a much needed break. Three times, I said I wanted to quit and go get an epidural. Each time, she didn’t fight with me, but instead had me change positions or try moving. She used the rebozo and TENs unit and got me doing stairs. Her last secret move—nipple stimulation—helped me move quickly through transition. In just 20min, I delivered my baby in the shower at my birth center. Along the way, she captured beautiful photos of my husband working through surges with me and afterwards with our fresh newborn. I could not recommend her highly enough.
