My daughter's birth turned out to be an unplanned home birth - a scenario that never crossed my mind as a reasonable possibility - and I was completely prepared. She helped me remain calm and feel empowered. Thanks to Lana I look back on my daughter's birth with an incredible sense of pride and amazement.
