My name is Samantha Poisson, and i highly recommended Barbie for a doula. It can be a terrifying time for first time parents, not knowing what to expect and not fully understanding what doctors are talking about when explaining things that will or could happen to you during pregnancy. Being pregnant let alone giving birth is supposed to be a wonderful experience of bringing in a little miracle half you and half the one you love into the world. Covid played a big part of my pregnancy not being able to do things other people got to do post- covid and it was tough, but barbie was able to stay by our side and help us get through everything. Barbie came to the rescue when I was 26 weeks pregnant and I was going into premature labor from a fall that I had at work. Luckly I was able to carry for 40 weeks and 3 days. Barbie came to our home and introduced herself and explained what she does and what to expect for the remaining of my pregnancy. She gave tips on how to help with pain or just being uncomfortable and tips to help having a healthy baby. She reached out all the time to make sure everything was going good at my doctors appointments and she was very hands on during the labor and delivery room when I delivered my son. Barbie answered every question I had and treated me as I was like a family member and it made me feel so relieved that I could count on someone who went above and beyond caring about not only my son's health,but mine as well. She stayed the whole time while I gave birth and captured life changing pictures for my fiance and I to cherish. I highly recommend Barbie to any mom to be that is looking for support during her journey, you will not regret it! We love Barbie and we are very blessed to have met her and have her help bring our little boy into the world.
