We had Barbie as our Doula for the birth of our 5th and 6th kiddos, twins, at home! Leading up to the birth Barbie was very helpful in helping us navigate doctors appointments, extra ultrasounds, and managing emotions that surrounded welcoming twins into our fold. She was 100% supportive of our choices and our feelings and was always available to talk through any obstacle or challenge we faced. My births are precipitous and we knew the chances of midwives and Barbie making it to catch baby may not happen but we did our best! Barbie was what felt like just minutes shy of the girls making their way into the world as were the midwives but when everyone was together handling after birth care it was phenomenal. Barbie was an excellent help with the four other children, breastfeeding, food, holding babies, delegating, she was a stable and reliable rock in the waves after we met our babies. Postpartum was the same! Reliable and unwavering help with emotions, and any and all questions I had. We love Barbie very very much and we will absolutely be asking her back if we have another little one ????
