Laurie made our birth experience so seemless even with complications we faced during labor. She prepared us well by asking questions to get us thinking about how we would handle decisions during labor. During labor, it was so reassuring to know that she was advocating for what we wanted based on our discussions. Since she is so experienced, she knows the ins and outs of the hospital as well as the nurses and doctors we worked with. I truly believe that we would have had a much different and less optimal birth without her. I can't say enough wonderful things about her. Oh and she is a lot of fun!! :)
