I cannot say enough wonderful things about Maria to give her the credit she deserves. If we learned one thing during our labor and delivery it's that you must advocate for yourself and Maria taught us how and helped us in the hospital to advocate for the best labor and delivery we could possible have in a tough circumstance that we were faced. She sat with me to give me husband time to step away and reset. She gave us the courage and knowledge to allow us to push back and ensure we got the experience we wanted and consoled us when our plan didn't go the way we thought it would. In a short period of time she became so close to us and understood our separate personalities to make sure she could guide us appropriately. We are so happy we decided to get a doula for and even happier our doula was Maria.
