Kelly came recommended by my OB and was the best doula I could've ever asked for. She provides so much of her own knowledge and access to science-based information ahead of the birth I felt empowered to make informed decisions regarding what I wanted for my birth. When my due date came and passed she provided much needed support without judgement when I was unsure of how I wanted to proceed due to outside pressure vs what I wanted for my birth. When it was time to deliver with a Pitocin induction, Kelly was readily available for consult the night before to ensure I got enough rest and was ready for what was to come. Day of she was there for my husband and I beginning to end and there was no way either of us could've done an unmedicated birth without her. When I was spiraling she pulled me back, snapped me out of it and got me to focus. When I felt like I couldn't go on she was there to remind me my baby was almost out all I had to do was push. She helped my husband console and support me through labor and somehow between all of this was able to document our labor with amazing pictures. After labor, we have been in touch to ensure we are adjusting ok and her salve and herbal bath sitz are life savers. Kelly is truly a gem and I can't imagine my birth story without her being a part of it.
