Testimonial for Averjill Rookwood
I found Averjill on a google search for black doulas in the west palm beach area. I was very adamant in getting a doula to assist with my pregnancy; especially with the high cases of African American women dying during child birth. There were only two black doulas in my area. I chose her just based on her profile picture. Her smile alone ensured me that she would steer me in the right direction. I had a very rough pregnancy and all though Averjill wasn't able to be with me in the delivery room she assisted me in so many amazing ways. She made me feel comfortable and at ease. She was extremely knowledgeable, especially about things I didn't know could happen during pregnancy. I am so grateful to have found her. Averjill is truly an angel.
