You are probably putting so much effort into prepping for your baby, but don't forget that you and your partner also need lots of love and support! That is why you need a doula! I am SO grateful that I found Kelly. She is kind, compassionate, and extremely knowledgable. I was pregnant during the COVID pandemic and with all of the correspondeing restrictions, I was starting to lose hope that I would be able to have the natural birth experience I had always wanted. When I talked to my doctor about doulas, she immediately recommended Kelly! Kelly's prenatal home visit put both my husband and I at ease with all the information we needed about labor, the hospital, and postnatal care. When baby girl decided she was ready to arrive, Kelly calmly met us at the hospital. She managed interactions with hospital staff effortlessly while still helping me through every single contraction. She was also a tremendous support for my husband. There were moments when I honestly thought I couldn't handle another second, but she was right there without judgement and filled with love to tell me that I absolutely could keep going! She also knew every possible trick to help make me more comfortable and to get the baby into a better position for delivery. I honestly can't imagine anyone giving birth without someone like Kelly. She literally saved my entire pregnancy and labor experience. I felt so supported, especially after birth at her postnatal visit. If you have been considering a doula, hire Kelly! You will be so grateful you did!
I also want to mention that I was so lucky to also get to work with Danielle during my labor since she was at the hospital at the same time for another delivery! She was so helpful and supportive and kind during my labor and you will love her, too! You seriously cannot go wrong with Sunshine Doula Services. :)
