She absolutely made the birth of my second child as wonderful and memorable as the birth of my first. I will forever be indebted to her for her guiding presence.
Kelly is extremely knowledgeable. From pregnancy to breastfeeding and post-partum care, she has vast resources and reliable, scientific information available for her mommas. She also has a very deep understanding of the labor and delivery process, and is very in-tune with what a laboring mom needs and wants. Kelly has seen it all, and is ready to tackle any concern, obstacle, or surprise that comes a momma’s way.
Kelly is well connected in the birthing world. She knows the industry and its players very well, and is comfortable giving fair and impartial insights on care providers, IBCLC’s, hospitals, midwives, etc. She has built a solid professional network, which bodes well for all mommas, and allows them to have the “inside scoop” on the birthing community.
Kelly is also “partner friendly”. My husband never felt out of the loop, second fiddle, or that he was not wanted or very needed in the process. She is such an advocate for partners and helps keep them providing support, comfort, and guidance. When we found out that we were expecting our second, he immediately told me to hire Kelly, almost more so for his benefit than for mine!
If I can successfully convince him to have a third, Kelly will once again be our first call. It is definitely the easiest decision a momma can make!
