I believe life truly has a way of working itself out. We met Liam only a couple of weeks before we delivered our son, Maddox and we can’t imagine not having Liam be apart of our day. Our friend and old doula, Sara was supposed to be my doula but she had her daughter only 9 weeks before I delivered Maddox. So she turned me over to meet Liam hoping it would be a good match for us. And it was! I came into it with an open mind but apart of me was originally really sad that Sara wasn’t going to be apart of our day because we had grown a close bond with her over my pregnancy. She started off as my prenatal yoga instructor, then my doula, and now a good mama friend of mine too. In the end, I am truly so grateful that she had her daughter so close to Maddox because it led Kody and I straight to Liam. Exactly where we were meant to be no matter how short our time frame was. She was truly incredible. Very medically inclined, extremely helpful with any questions or concerns my husband and I had. And she was absolutely fantastic to have in the delivery room! We couldn’t have asked for a better doula to help us through our experience. She knew all the right positions, the best things to say to keep you focused, and she had THE best hands for the right spots when I would have a deep contraction! Kody and I both genuinely wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to be apart of our experience. We had a slow start to my early labor so we got to know each other really well. And I’m so grateful that we did because we really got to know each other. Making our experience together even more special! I remember waking up the next morning with our newborn little boy, and my husband and I were in awe with how positive our experience was. We both said we truly couldn’t have don’t it without her. (Nor would we have wanted to!) We are so grateful to Liam! Love, The Quinn’s
