Mary Beth is wonderful and I would recommend her to anyone, regardless of the type of birth they are planning! I had planned a low intervention birth but ended up getting induced, having an epidural after many hours of labor that did not progress, and finally getting a c section when the baby was showing signs of distress. Mary Beth was incredibly supportive and helpful every step of the way, explaining the process better than the medical staff, reassuring me that I was making good decisions, and doing small and large things to make my experience better. To top it off, the pictures she took after the birth were so beautiful, we didn't even need to hire a newborn photographer! She's definitely worth every penny even if you don't want a "natural" birth.
