Let me start by saying, I am incredibly thankful to have had the opportunity to work and get to know Samantha. From the moment I found out I was expecting, I knew I wanted to work with a Doula. As a first-time mother, there is a lot of information out there on the do's and don’ts of pregnancy/labor/motherhood. Instead of constantly googling and reading yet another book on “How to,” I found it comforting to be able to reach out to Samantha, to have that sound board of reassurance. She was always prompt with getting right back to me, which I truly appreciated.
From the moment we met, I instantly knew she was someone I wanted in my corner. Samantha exudes a calming presence full of warmth, grace, and confidence. Having 3 unique births herself, I felt reassured that she would be able to help guide me through alternative laboring techniques. How right I was! If it were not for Samantha in the room during labor, my husband would have been lost. As soon as the contractions hit, she never left my side and knew exactly what and when I needed something. I honestly do not know what we would have done without her.
