I was told by my friend to inquire about Danielle's services for my next birth seeing as how my first birth fell short of my expectations. I got a quick response from her and immediately clicked with her personality. My husband was hesitant about inviting a doula to the birthing experience because he was very hands on the first time and wanted to be my primary support person again. Danielle was exceptional at acknowledging his request and provided ways for him to assist me best. The time period leading up to the birth was full of communication and we began generating a plan.
The actual birth and labor was perfect in my opinion. I opted for a natural birth at the hospital and that's exactly what I got! With Danielle's help we were able to move baby from an odd position to one preferred for birth quickly and efficiently. I was able to Successfully deliver a 9.5 lb baby boy vaginally with a tiny tear. I owe it all to my amazing doula and will most definitely be counting on her services for future deliveries!
