I believe all the preparation we did with Shannon and her presence during the labor and delivery led us to achieve the birth we wished for! Shannon has an amazing ability to understand someone's concerns with patience(which she did when I called her for the very first time to enquire about the doula services she provided) and helped me with all the possibilities/options to help me have the desired birth. It was never a concern for her to invest her time and help me... educate me.. even when I had not hired her as my doula(until the very end when hospital confirmed I could bring in my doula with me during the pandemic), all she cared for was to help me get the birth I wished for! Thank you Shannon for advocating for us while we needed it the most. You are amazing at what you do and I mean it when I say "I couldn't have done it without you"!! ??
