Adding Sanyika to my "birth team" was one of the easiest and best decisions I made for my pregnancy journey. My husband and I instantly connected with her as it felt like we were just talking with family. She was so supportive, answering the random questions I had throughout pregnancy as I prepared for childbirth. I already felt she was so valuable to us and we hadn't even birthed our baby yet!! Due to COVID restrictions at the hospital, Sanyika came to my home to labor with me prior to going to the hospital and talk about support, love and comfort. She was with me through the late hours of night to the early morning, then we went off the hospital to deliver! We remained in contact throughout our hospital stay and even through postpartum.
