We had a super positive experience with Laurie. She took the time to meet us before the birth, answer our questions and understand out perspective/preferences. It was very helpful to think of scenarios that were not our 'best case' before in order to think about possibilities and consider what we would want as alternatives. At the birth, Laurie was amazing - knew exactly when/where to touch, had all the equiptment to make it more comfortable, was able to navigate between us & the docs/nurses in a respectful but proactive way, and helped my husband find his place. Her experience was very evident as she manuevered so smoothly and naturally in that atmosphere - it really made the experience seamless. Postpartum Laurie was equally as amazing, coming to our house for massage, check-in, placenta, even did some dishes- really whatever we needed. She showed so much compassion during that difficult time. We are so grateful for her and would definitely recommend!!
