We had a wonderful experience working with Anna as our doula. She came to the hospital as soon as I was admitted to the hospital. We worked together to labor naturally for a while. She made suggestions of different exercises we could do together like lunges and squats. She made sure I was hydrated throughout my time in labor which was very important to me because I did not want to get an IV. She also had a TENS machine that I could use to help me manage my pain. Anna made various suggestions for different positions to labor in and was able to help me position my body to do them correctly. She brought a peanut ball with her which helped me get comfortable in the bed when labor became very uncomfortable. Anna always tucked me in to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. It was also a plus that she knew the hospital well so she could get items we needed like pads, disposable underwear and chucks pads. After my baby was born Anna took some pictures of us and helped assist me with breastfeeding. I would definitely recommend her to anyone seeking a doula for their birth.
