I can't say enough nice things about Barbie and her doula service. I am a first time Mom, I delivered my baby in Augsut 2020 (during Covid.) Barbie is extremely knowledgeable and also easy to connect with. Due to Covid, we weren't able to tour the hospital or take an in-person birthing class. We got everything we needed through her. Since she has been doing this for a while, she knows the ins and outs of all the RI hospitals. We loved having her as an outside person (not affiliated with any hospital) because she helped us make decisions that were in line with our beliefs. She helped us navigate some challenges we had in the hospital and we were grateful having her. Even if Covid weren't in the picture, we would still have worked with Barbie. My baby is now 6 weeks old, and we have hired Barbie for postpartum doula work. I find it helpful to continue learning tricks and tips as my baby grows. Not only is she an experienced doula, she has also raised 3 kids.
