I had my first child, a baby boy, in February 2020 and could not have done that without Meredith's support and guidance. Meredith and I met when I was newly pregnant and I immediately felt a great connection with her. She has good energy and is a wealth of knowledge. She has been a labor & delivery nurse, prior to becoming a Doula, and her breadth of knowledge when it comees to delivering a baby was unrivaled. She is kind and loving and a joy to work with. Meredith spends time with you to understand your goals, need and objectives for the birth; she provides coaching and support throughout the pregnancy and was an invaluable asset in the delivery room for myself and my husband. As first-time parents, we didn't know what to expect, and weren't familiar with the process and what was happening in the delivery room. Meredith was there with us, a part of our team, helping to make the process as easy and calm as possible. She also met with us a week or two after our son was born, to check in and make sure everything was going okay. I continued to text her afterwards with questions about breastfeeding, sleeping, etc. She was truly an invaluable resource and I could not recommend her more.
