I felt like I clicked with and was comfortable with Meredith right from the beginning. She is extremely warm and personable. She has a way of making you feel at ease and like everything is going to be alright. This was so important to me as a first time mom with lots of questions. She took the time to answer every single question that I had and always explained things thoroughly. Throughout my pregnancy, she was always there when I needed her. Whether that was through text, email, or virtually face-to-face; I know she would always be there. As we neared the end of my pregnancy, I was so nervous not only about giving birth, but about giving birth during a global pandemic. Meredith took the time to talk to me about all my worries and we put a plan in place for her to support me and my husband virtually. Although my third trimester and birth was definitely not what I expected due to Covid, I always knew I had Meredith on call for support. She was there at the crack of dawn when my water broke to give me advice on how to get contractions started and she continued her support all the way through birth. I had a very long, 36 hour labor and Meredith was there to support me virtually the entire time. Although she communicated mostly with my husband, as that was what we decided was best for us, I knew she was there to answer questions the whole time I was at the hospital. While I was in labor, she continued to offer suggestions on different positions to encourage labor to progress. I feel extremely thankful that I had Meredith as a resource during my pregnancy and labor. She is kind, encouraging, and always supportive of what you want to do. Thank you Meredith!
