Having Élan at my birth was the absolute best thing that could have happened. Throughout my prenatal appointments, and preparing for the birth, she was respectful, attentive, and gave me so much personalized attention. I felt 100% prepared for my birth. When it came time for me to deliver, she made herself available to us as soon as we needed her. I loved how she included my husband and supported us together. She taught him how to apply counter pressure, how to massage the places I needed, and when we went to the hospital she was with me the entire time offering words of encouragement and support through my labor. I never doubted that she cared about me- it was like having my mom or my sister there. It was a beautiful birth, and I can’t imagine having my baby without her. I would move back to Idaho for my next pregnancy just so Élan could be there for me! I’m doing my best here, but if I’m being honest words truly cannot express how much love I feel for this woman and how grateful I am to her. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of an amazing doula.
