I highly recommend Michele! We started working with her right before I entered my third trimester, which happened to correlate with the start of lockdown. While we were skeptical at first of the prospects of having a potential “virtual doula” accompany us for the birth of our first baby, I’m happy to say we were incredibly lucky to find Michele and her partners at Delivered Doulas. Their online trainings are informative and fun, and they even started offering additional weekly video calls during the pandemic to provide extra support and help build a community for their clients. They truly went above and beyond to provide information, knowledge and resources during this uncertain time for new parents, and I can’t say enough how supported I felt by them, and still do, one month post partum. Michele joined us virtually for the birth and has been of tremendous help these past few weeks helping trouble shoot breastfeeding questions and concerns. She helped us effectively advocate for the type of birth we were hoping for while in the hospital, even though she wasn’t physically in the room.
