One of the most important parts of my most recent pregnancy with our third baby was my desire to do it "all natural" in a hospital setting. I knew that having an amazing doula would be a big part of whether I was able to do this or not. I am still amazed (and constantly rave) about how much I learned from Hunter about pregnancy and birth, that I didn't know during my first two pregnancies. I wish more women and their partners knew how having a birth coach is important, no matter how many times you've been pregnant before, whether you're having a planned c-section, or are determined to have an epidural.

Her belief system and knowledge will make sure you are educated and feel empowered to make the best decisions for your body and your baby. These qualities were crucial to me during this time and I couldn't imagine a better pregnancy and birth, or not having her there through all of it. She fit right into the plans my husband and I already had. We had as close to a perfect birth experience as I could have wanted and her presence for the birth of our daughter was like having a big sister with me the whole time.
