When my boyfriend and I received the great news that I was preganant, I knew that I wanted to hire a doula to help us navigate the birth of our first child. With so many unknowns, Ellie was that supportive and reassuring voice I could go to for any of my questions or concerns. She helped us feel ready for the big day. My birth experience didn't actually go as planned, so it was even more important to have Ellie's guidance and support during the process. She was that encouraging voice each step of the way that kept me focused and calm. Ellie helped us make educated decisions for the last minute changes that arose, while staying as close as possible to my birth plan, which was very important to me. Having Ellie there to support my boyfriend and I through the whole process was much needed. I would definitely recommend Ellie as a doula!
