My son was born in May 2020 and Shannon was both our birth and postpartum doula. She was honestly such a blessing to my husband and I during this difficult time. During the birth she was so calming and reassuring. She answered our questions and made me feel like I could do it, even when achieving a successful vaginal birth seemed impossible and I wanted to quit. I am sure that without Shannon I would’ve needed a c section. She had so much knowledge and her support was crucial for both me and my husband. Our son had some difficulties when he was born, but Shannon explained what was going on while the doctors and nurses were busy quickly treating him. I can’t say enough good things about Shannon. My husband and I would never have another baby without her. We both recommend her to every expecting parent we know!
