Kelly was an exceptional support role during my pregnancy, birth and post partum. Having a baby during a pandemic was not easy, there were fast and quick changes to my birth plan that I was not prepared for or expecting (I know this happens to most mom's without a pandemic in the mix). However, we accepted what was happening outside of our control and Kelly amended the experience so she still could be present for me without actually being in the room due to new hospital rules only allowing one support person with you. Happy to have my husband with me by my side, Kelly was with me the ENTIRE time on facetime. She helped my husband get things in the room to better support me, she coached me through labor, and she was able to get a video of me birthing my daughter! She even helped my husband get my placenta to her in the parking lot so she could still encapsulate it. Kelly became especially helpful when we had some post partum questions - she answered us every time and referred us to her resources as needed. I'm so grateful to Kelly for making my experience feel even more special despite all odds being against us. Having a doula with me through birth wasn't an option for me, it was a necessity! If you're looking for a doula, do yourself a favor and meet with Kelly- I bet you'll hire her on the spot!
