When I found out I was pregnant I was very excited, but also very anxious. I had a bad history with medical care and I was aware of many issues that could arise during labor, delivery, and postpartum. I was very nervous at first meeting Christin. Trust is very hard for me to give because of my history and anxiety. She immediately validated me, made me feel safe, and heard. Throughout the pregnancy at every turn she was a solid rock that kept me present and as calm as possible during many unexpected challenges during Covid-19. I felt completely supported and she gave my husband and I any and every resource to have a successful birth even though she was not allowed in the hospital because of the restrictions due to Covid-19. We stayed on the phone or FaceTime with her from the start of my induction due to hydramniosis until the birth of our beautiful boy. I cannot stress enough how valuable she was to us through the whole process. Her support, information, and guidance gave me the confidence I needed to have a beautiful birth experience.
