After meeting with 3 other Doulas including Laurie my husband and I Instantly felt connected to Laurie and knew we wanted her to be apart of our journey. She has an amazing presence that makes you feel like you've known her for a long time and puts you at ease which I knew would be important when going through labor for the first time especially with a nervous husband who doesn't handle blood/fluids very well. Little did I know I would be having my baby in the middle of a pandemic and boy was Laurie an angel through out it. I had to be induced and Laurie was right by my side every step of the way! She provided so much comfort and confidence to me while my husband was not feeling well (ya very scary) if it wasn't for Laurie I know I would not have been able to labor as long as I did without any pain medication! Even after the birth of my son when I was struggling from instense postpartum anxiety and sleep deprivation she was there to comfort me and support me through healing and getting help! Laurie is absolutely amazing and anyone who chooses her as a Doula will be so thankful they did! Oh and the massages are just an added benefit :) we absolutely love Laurie and are so grateful we've met her!
