I interviewed a few doulas prior to meeting Liz for the first time. I knew in our first meeting that Liz was the doula I wanted to support me and my husband. As a first time mom, birth was terrifying for me. I did my research, read lots of books and prepared for my big day but I just felt like it wasn't enough. After meeting Liz, I knew she was the missing piece of the puzzle to my birth. With every meeting she came prepared to answer my questions, provided feedback on my birth preferences and gave me ideas on how I may want to be supported/pain management ideas.
