Hiring Midwest Doulas was by far the best decision we made during pregnancy! Justine was recommend to my husband and I by a friend and after meeting her, we knew she was the doula for us too. She is warm, encouraging, knowledgeable, and assertive -- just the kind of person I wanted by my side while giving birth. Knowing she was going to be there for me during the birth gave me a lot of comfort during pregnancy. Once she arrived during labor, I honestly think she made my labor go faster. She suggested a lot of positions to keep things moving, really helped me cope with the contractions, and reassured me that everything that was happening was totally normal. I would never want to give birth without her!
