I would highly recommend Jennifer as a postpartum doula - she was with us every day for a week after we got home from the hospital and was such an immense source of emotional and physical support. We had no family staying with us and no prior experience with a baby; I ended up having a very long labor and delivery and both my husband and I were drained at the end of it! Jennifer was so helpful in getting us back on our feet - talking to us, providing reassurance, taking care of the baby and guiding us as we learnt how to do so ourselves. We loved Jennifer's warm, friendly and positive attitude. My husband had a long list of baby related questions for Jennifer each day that she was able to help him with. For me , Jennifer provided the much needed emotional comfort that I needed to heal. It was also great to be able to have her take care of baby while we both got some rest.
We went on to schedule Jennifer for many more additional days in the weeks that followed. When the pandemic related restrictions came into place, Jennifer was very proactive about refunding the payments we had made and has continued to be there for us over the phone, providing us with resources and guidance as needed. I am so glad we made the decision to have a postpartum doula and that we had Jennifer!
