I knew when I got pregnant that having a doula would benefit me. I am a BIG researcher and wanted to be able to have a resource who has been through this many times & could point me in the right direction based on what I wanted to get out of my birth experience. Kim was exactly that from the moment I met her. She offered unbiased fact based information (as well as offering her own experience where applicable!). She is so caring & supportive all while feeling like a friend you can go to & count on!
I went through my birth experience during the corona virus so while she could not join me in the hospital our pre birth visits & at home support before going to the hospital benefitted me immensely & helped me feel prepared for what was to come. I successfully navigated a natural, unmedicated birth experience with her help. I would highly recommend Kim no matter what you are looking for, as again she offered no judgement on any decisions I've made.
Kim has continued to be helpful in the couple weeks after bringing our baby home, whether to support me through the post partum hormonal adjustment or breastfeeding questions.
Could not be more grateful to have had her as part of my team & would use her again in a heart beat!
